and all the beautiful darkness!

Hi everyone!

First, I just wanted to thank everyone who followed/shared my post-hack Instagram account. Your support through a very stressful time was very much appreciated.

I have a collection of 12 new dolls that I will be putting in my shop tomorrow! I’ll be doing things a little bit differently this time. I will be hitting ‘publish’ and making the dolls available for you all on the mailing list at 11 am EST, Friday October 25th. I will not make a ‘shop open’ announcement anywhere until 12 pm. Because sometimes there is a little bit of a rush to purchase, I wanted to give subscribers an hour to shop before others join in.

Baba Estie dusted off her Bone Harp and has been practicing for weeks.

Marie-Celeste’s accordion playing is the best in Rag and BoneLand.

Alice likes reading stories that she’s written down in her book.

Anton made a special stringed gourd-thingey to play for everyone.

Tallulah picked lots of apples from her (neighbor’s) tree and baked some bread.

Godfrey brought a bottle of apple cider , a pear cider and baked some baguettes.

Klimt baked some bread and brought some apple cider.

Josie loves to play her fiddle.

Eena bangs and bang and bangs on her wooden bass drum. She also sings. oh god.

Marcella made some cheese and picked her finest, tartest apples.

Bodra doesn’t know the meaning of the word ‘quiet’

Jasper brought his favorite bread and his most beautiful apple, plus a bottle of something lovely.

So many funny Harvest folks gathering and playing music and eating and telling stories and quenching their thirst. Some have brought a fiddle or drum or Bone Harp or gourd thingie or accordion and some have brought bread and cheese or cider and I can't imagine what they get up to and how much the neighbors will complain or how achey their heads will be tomorrow but the harvest is in! The dark days are coming! Time to light a fire, do a funny dance and celebrate the Dark dark with it’s skinny shivery bits of light poking through!

There will also be a few old friends in my shop that you may recognize… some monsters that wanted to join the party.
